I remember when I was a teenage, a guy assaulted me, called me names saying he will leak my personal photographs, at that time my family was my biggest support, they not only tracked that guy down but also gave him a good lesson, so that he remembers, a girl is never alone her family is always with her.

Growing up I always imagined myself to be a part of a society where I am safe and feel protected, but who are we kidding, the same so called society that can make a rape turn into a caste massacre is no good.

The hathras gang rape case gave me chills, she was just a 19 year old girl who was so brutally raped that she couldn't survive. Even after watching her condition the police couldn't punish the victims then what is the use of these judicial policies and laws protecting women. Every day a new nirbhaya is raped and all government could do is give some compensation. Will that compensation bring back the girl's life? Will she get justice? Will she?

Because even a child knows  "Justice Delayed is Justice Denied".

Aren't we sick of hearing these statistics . Not a day is passed and we have a series of new rape cases lined up. When are the people going to realise that it is high time that we raise our voice, ask the government to make stricter laws. Laws should be formed in such a way that there shouldn't be any loopholes for the culprits to run away from their punishments.

Just look at what she is wearing,

Just look at her short dress,

Just look at her slender legs,

She has got a nice figure,

And so on, these are the kind of comments ever girl has heard in her lifetime. Why not teach the boys to behave properly instead of putting a full stop on what girl's speak. Freedom could only be excercised if it is given, regardless of whatever the people say, girls are not allowed to walk, talk, or even live freely.

Let that sink in!
