Second chance

It was December of 2003 when I was only a small kid who witnessed her grandfather taking his last breath. The problem was I didn't really understand what was actually happening but as I grew up I realised that I lost such an important person of my life and never even got to say goodbye. Its very easy to say that life gives everyone a second chance, but is it though. I know for sure that I would never be able to meet my grandpa ever again, so why not make the best of all the chances you are given, dont count your chances just make the best out of the moment.

India is a country where we worship women in the temples but abuse them at their home. When will people realise that each human being is god's creation and there is no big or small when it comes to a living being, every one is equal.

Why do people make it so difficult for the small girl to live, the set of rules she has to follow, the various questions she has to answer, why?

Is it wrong to be born as a girl when you have people lined up to tell you what an obnoxious, irrelevant, and pitiful life that girl is going to live. A nation where every one is thaught that people should be treated equally, but still they are discriminated. Killing a girl child is still practiced in various parts of the country, because girls are considered not worthy to be given a chance at living.

What if all this goes on and no strict action is taken against all the injustice that millions of girls are facing?

What if the life we are living is in fact a second chance to make the best out of it. But all we are doing is wasting this golden opportunity to make amends for the wrongs that are done to a girl child.

Lets raise our voice today and take this second chance to save the girl who just wants to live, their might not be a third chance.
